My baby girl is only 19, and most know I’ve been a single mother most of her life. I couldn’t afford to get her a car, hell I don’t even have a car. I drive a scooter. A financial decision, mainly because I can’t afford insurance.
She bought a used car, talked the woman down to $500 and then saved to get it fixed, and in a few weeks, she will have enough money to tag and insure it.
I may not have been able to get her a car, but teaching her how to get it herself is much more valuable.
